Before the Keeler Brass Company sold out, a woman on this forum from April of 2007 had purchased seven teardrop handles for her Drexel Esperanto furniture for $107.00. Based on my measurements they were able to offer replacements that would fit my furniture, but it was cost prohibitive since I would need 28. They tried to match them up, but were unable to find any. Provide the actual width, height, and depth of the handle and email or fax the information to them. The most important measurements are the length of the screw, the screw hole diameter and the measurement from the center of one screw hole to the center of the other screw hole. Two screws that screw into the back of rosettes and one handle that hinges and swings in the rosettes. For example, if you are looking for a 2-screw drop swing handle, it consists of 5 pieces. Unfortunately, Hinges and Handles does not use the same inventory numbers, furniture line names, nor names of the hardware finishes as the Keeler Brass Company did and therefore they cannot cross reference Drexel's number with their inventory.įAX: had to take pictures of what I was looking for, along with the number of pieces that made up the handle with the exact measurements.
They then sold the Keeler Brass Company’s entire Drexel inventory to Hinges and Handles. Sometime after 2007, they sold out to the Hickory Hardware Company. The Keeler Brass Company originally made all of Drexel’s hardware. Earlier this year, I too was looking for some Drexel "Esperanto" replacement handles.
